Achieving PCI compliance can be extremely challenging for today’s organisations. So, we all ask ourselves – how do you get started?

To get started it is crucial that you identify the right people that are going to be responsible for PCI compliance and determine your merchant level. On top of this, you need to choose which SAQ your company needs to complete and decide whether your company will try to achieve PCI compliance by ‘doing it yourself’ or by working with a consultancy. Additionally, you need to ensure that your company has an information security policy in place and have a good process for retaining crucial data.
